Regular Season Challenge #11 = Infinity Loops TPW Chopping Block
Requirement #1:
Perform a freestyle line with any tricks that you choose. Maximum 90 seconds for outside. Max 60 second for indoors.
Requirement #2:
Download the TPW Score Calculator and then click "File" and then "make a copy." Fill out the calculator in accordance with your run.
Requirement #3:
Submit your video AND you calculator sheet via the google form. Score at least as many points as the lowest scoring pilot who makes the playoffs to avoid a letter.
*120 second MAXIMUM video submission length. (Note: If YouTube displays 121 seconds that is fine, it often adds a second to the runtime)
This challenge will determine which pilots will make up the top 32 and make the playoffs. If you are entering this challenge with anything less than 3 letters, I-G-O, then congratulations, no matter what happens you have already made it! However, you have I-G-O going into this final challenge then you are on the TPW Chopping Block. If the letters stay exactly as they are now (before the challenge #10 review) then the top 15 scores will move on and then bottom 13 would be knocked out, but these numbers could shift after the challenge #10 review.
This challenge is not due until Saturday, September 6th at 10am PST so you will have over two weeks to put together the highest scoring run possible. If you participated in the IGOW5 training grounds this challenge is very similar to the final preseason challenge the TPW Midterm, however that was a very simplified version of the scoring system and this challenge uses the full scoring system. There are ways to increase your multiplier and get bonus points so be sure to play around with the score sheet calculator to find the best way to maximize your points.
Here is a link to the challenge info page: https://prowhooper.com/freestyle-showdown-quick-guide/
*If you are in the top group that will make the playoffs if they participate or not you still need to put in a scored run to be entered into the giveaways. You must score equal to or above the lowest score that makes the playoffs if you want to avoid a letter (even though it will not affect if you make the playoffs, it could affect your group seating). The top 8 ranked pilots will be able to select who in in their group for the playoffs in a draft style selection. You should also start to think about what challenge you are going to create for the group round of the playoffs. This season the challenges are going to be more restricted than in previous years in terms of how many parts you can have, how long the challenge takes to perform, how much space you need to do the challenge ect. You can message me to start running ideas by me via email or DM.
Regular Season Challenge #10 = Fractal Engineering Freestyle Progression
***Note: 90 second MAX video length for this challenge***
Requirement #1: Internal Innovation - Create a New Trick
Create a "New Trick" for FPV Freestyle, give it a name, and provide at least 3 DVR examples of you performing your trick. Please give a brief explanation of your trick and specify what type of obstacle it should be performed on (over/under, pole, open air, through a gap, up and/or down a horizontal gate, ect ect).
*Please DO NOT name your new trick something with your pilot name and a motion: ie SkittleFlip or PowerSkittle. Try to make your trick's name relate to something about your trick. If you can explain why you choose the name would be great but is not required. For example the word "yaw" when mirror flipped upside down looks kinda like "ham" so that is where I got the ham part of "Hamhook" and in the future I will be referring to doing inverted yaw spins as "going ham."
*You DO NOT have to invent the next foundational trick of FPV or some new revolutionary way to fly a drone or even anything close to that. I mean if you come up with the next "Mattyflip" that would be incredible, but the idea is just to get you thinking and experimenting with new types and combinations of motions and/or tricks. You will not fail because someone else already created your trick.
Requirement #2: External Progression - Choose one Stall Rewind and Three Combo Tricks to Learn for your freestyle line.
Stall Rewinds. Learn at least one of the four following "Stall Rewind" Variations: All these trick begin by flying under an obstacle and/or at a wall, Then you then fly up, stall and perform a trick, and then fall back down the wall and or under the obstacle flying backward in a rewind type motion. It is not required, but it is a lot cooler and more visually interesting if you do this trick under or through an obstacle at the start and finish.
*This trick concept was created and named by Heads
1. Stall 360 Rewind (roll). This is a Stall Rewind with a full 360deg roll at the top (either direction). Ideally you perform the roll at the apex of the stall rewind motion and Heads suggests that your whoop be in a more vertical position for the roll.
*This variation was created by Heads
2. Stall 360 Rewind (yaw). This is a Stall Rewind with a full 360deg yaw spin at the top (either direction). Ideally you perform the spin at the apex of the stall rewind motion and as you can see in the example clips, Callisto performs the yaw spin with his whoop in a much less vertical position than the version with roll from Heads.
*This variation was created by Callisto
3. Matty Stall Rewind. This is a Stall Rewind with a 1/2 front flip with an extended inverted stall while at the apex of the stall rewind motion. You then continue the front flip into matty position and rewind back down like all the stall rewinds.
*This variation was created and named by Tyrantt
4. ill-Flip. This is a Stall Rewind with a 1/2 backflip then an extended inverted stall while at the apex of the stall rewind motion. You then continue the backflip motion all the way past level into to matty position to rewind back down like all the stall rewinds.
*This variation was created by SawWord and named by Carpenter FPV.
Combo Tricks. Learn at least three of the nine following combo type tricks. All of these tricks are combinations of parts of other maneuvers that already have pretty well know trick names. The idea is to mash the tricks together into one cohesive new trick motion.
C1. Hook: Learn any type of basic "Hook" (either 1/2 flip direction and either 1/2 roll direction). A Hook is performed on an over/under type obstacle and it starts with 1/2 flip to Inverted, then you 1/2 roll back to level, and then fly forward back under the obstacle the opposite way that you started. So its like a JuicyFlick or Snapback and but done over then back under an obstacle like the path of a Split-S.
*This trick category was created and named by Tyrantt and Skittles
C2. Honey-Baked Hamhook. This is how Moe typically likes to do his Hamhooks. You start by flying under the obstacle while performing an 180 yaw spin then rise up into immediately a Hamhook. Both 180 yaw spins must done in the same direction. This trick must be done on an over/under style obstacle.
*This trick was created by MoeFPV and named by Skittles
C3. Canadian Bacon. This trick starts like a Powerswitch with a 3/4 powerloop to stall but then rather than a mattyflip motion back to rewind you perform a hamhook. This trick must be done on an over/under style obstacle.
*This trick was created by Blastaa and named by Skittles
C4. Jackie Chan. This trick must be performed on an obstacle that has a vertical surface that you can perform a wall tap on and that you can also fly under, like a doorway. You start by flying under the obstacle and perform the 1st half of a powerloop into a nose down wall tap above the opening. Then front flip out of the tap and rewind back in a matty motion down and finish flying backward under the obstacle again.
*This trick was created and named by Shauny D
C5. Kururi. This is a Mattyflip then a 180 yaw spin as you are passing under then directly into an immelmann to finish. This trick must be done on an over/under style obstacle.
*This trick was created and named by Skittles
C6. Mavani. This starts like a Maverick loop, and at the peak of the loop, you execute a frontflip motion to inverted, then 180 inverted yaw spin, and finish with a matty motion back under the object. So basically it’s a Barani, but with a Maverick Loop and frontflip to inverted rather than powerloop/backflip motion to start and get inverted. This trick must be done on an over/under style obstacle.
*This trick was created and named by Tyrantt
C7. Dropscrew. This is a dive with a matty motion exit into a trippy spin around a pole. This trick must have at least a bit of a dive down before the matty matty motion exit and transfer to a pole for a trippy spin.
*This trick was created and named by Nightwing
C8. Pole Dance. This is like a half backflip, then a half roll into a half matty, but all as one motion in the basic path of a cradle. Tyrantt descibes it as two whiplash motions back to back. It is also very similar to the next trick, the Rollback. You must perform this trick around a pole type obstacle. This trick was the best "New Trick" created in this IGOW4 version of this challenge.
*This trick was created and named by Pascalk FPV
C9. Rollback. This is like a juicy flick or snap back through a gap into a half matty back through through the gap the opposite direction, but all as one continuous motion. You can continue the same roll direction with the half matty or make it have more of a rewind type feel by using opposite half roll directions for the two elements. You must perform this trick through a gap of some sort.
*This trick was created and named by Aux Plumes
Requirement #3: Display Your Progress - Putting everything together.
You must perform a freestyle line with no bumps, ground taps, or failed trick attempts that is at least 42 seconds long 7 different requried tricks. The required tricks can be in any ordera and you are welcome to include as many other tricks before, after and in-between the required tricks; you can do whatever tricks you feel are best to fill out your line. The 7 Tricks that you are required to have in your line are:
1. Your "New Trick"
2. "Hamhook"
3. "Rodeo 7"
4. One of the four "Stall Rewind" options.
5. Your first pick from the "Combo Trick" options
6. Your second pick from the "Combo Trick" options
7. Your third pick from the "Combo Trick" options
*If you are able, try to have the clip feature/highlight either your "New Trick" or whichever of the selected tricks was your favorite by performing it on the coolest obstacle of the location and really nailing the execution cleanly. It does not necessarily have to be the very 1st trick but it should definitely be early in the line.
Hamhook: A Hamhook is performed on an over/under type obstacle and it starts with 1/2 frontflip to Inverted, then 180 inverted yaw spin, and then pitch back and fly forward to sweep back under the obstacle. If you prefer to do this trick starting with a 1/2 backflip to inverted you are allowed to do "Gainer Hamhook" instead of the standard style.
*This trick was created by MoeFPV and balzaccc and named by Skittles
Rodeo 7: This is like a backflip and a 360deg yaw spin somewhat blended together but still separate enough that you are spinning about 720deg total between the two axes. You can put your own style on with how you blend the different rotation types. Ideally you have something in FPV view as you twist around rather than just the sky because this makes the trick more appealing visually but that is not required.
*If you mix the backflip and the yaw spin too much so that you don't see that 2nd rotation around and as the backflip ends you are already finishing the yaw spin also, that would be a standard Rodeo. This still has an interesting and pretty cool look but the 720 version looks a lot more interesting.
*This trick can technically be done in the open air but if it wasn't obvious this trick is inspired by Snowboarding/Skiing Freestyle so the idea is to do it "off a jump" where you start by flying at a obstacle then start to yaw spin as you approach and pop up over the obstacle (like starting a spin as you take of the lip of a jump in snowboarding/skiing), perform the trick while passing over the obstacle and then complete it like you landed on the other side by keeping your forward momentum and flying away smoothly and cleanly. I always yaw left in the video examples but you can yaw either direction.
*This trick concept was created and named by Skittles with help from Nightwing.
Viagow Modified Requirements for Pilots with I-G-O:

Viagow Modified Requirements for Pilots with I-G-O:
Requirement #1: Same
Requirement #2: Same
Requirement #3:
You must perform the following 2 trick combo on your TGS obstacle. You must perform the tricks in order and immediately after one another.
1. Barani (Bottom to top to bottom)
2. Roll as you pass through the middle gate.
*You must start the roll before entering the gate.
Pass/Fail Points of Focus:
#1: For all Baranis you must be inverted and able to see the horizon or back wall before beginning your inverted 180 yaw spin.
#2: For all Baranis you must clearly be yaw spinning while inverted. You must be able to see clear yaw motion while inverted. Rollani type motion is not allowed.
#3: For the Baranis on the TGS you must be inverted and 180 yaw spinning as you pass through the top gate. You should get a yaw track type effect on on of the sides of the gate as you pass though.
#4 For both your TGS split-S you must start rolling before you pass through the gate. You cannot do a flat yaw turn around, you must have roll in your split-S.
Regular Season Challenge #8 = Minifigs.me Selfies
This is a "pick your poison" style challenge where you have to choose between one of two options for each requirement. All selfie combos must be performed in order all in one clip with no bumps, ground taps, or failed attempts. Also you must be located somewhere with a 10ft max ceiling height. You can sit in a chair instead of stand but your feet must touch the ground and you still must go through your legs as the gate. The 3 combos that you choose can be in any order in your video but you must label each combo either on screen or in the video description. You can do each combo in its own clip or if you are able to you can do multiple combos in the same clip. *90 second MAXIMUM video submission length. (Note: If YouTube displays 91 seconds that is fine, it often adds a second to the runtime)
Requirement #1: Choose one of the following two intermediate options:
*note: these options both end with celebration rolls
Option A: Danstaa Dance: Powerloop with CLM ending with a 180 yaw spin through the legs. Straight into cradle each leg individually, top half of body (at least shoulders + head) must be in view during cradle at all times. After the cradles immediately follow up with a Mattyflip with CLM. Finish with celebration roll with self in view of the camera.
Option B: Professor Heads Painful Planks: You must be in plank position for this entire combo. You must fly over the top of your body and then into two orbits (either direction) of your head and arms passing under your body each time. On the 3rd pass under yourself you must then perform a Maverick Loop and pass under yourself in plank form a 4th time to complete the Maverick Loop and then perform a celebration roll with yourself in FPV view.
Requirement #2: Choose one of the following two expert options:
*note: these options both end with celebration flips
Option C: Moe Combo: Powerloop with CLM then a Powerflip with CLM (powerloop with extra backflip while passing over yourself). Immediately into a Matty Stall Rewind and then another powerloop ending with a 180 yaw spin through the legs into a celebration flip while looking at yourself. **Note: Moe forgot the celebration flip in this example clip**
Option D: OGDrLove Hug: For this combo you must create a dive gate with your arms, like you are hugging and invisible person. You must perform a Split-S through your arm dive gate and then turn around perform a Mattyflip by flying up through your arm gate, front flipping over your head and finishing the Mattyflip by sweeping backward through your legs with CLM. Then perform a celebration flip while looking at yourself.
Requirement #3: Choose one of the following two options from previous IGOW Champions:
*note: these options both have specific endings
Option E: Tyrantt's Tyranny : 4 Trick Combo: Half Mavvy, Splitback, Power Roll, Immelmatt and then end the clip with a self face punch. **Tyrantt does an extra celebration roll, self matty and some other bonus tricks that are not part of the combo**
*Power Roll: must begin the start the roll while inverted (in other words, you cannot do a powerloop and the roll during the dive. it needs to be at the top of the loop)
*Immelmatt: the 180 roll into the matty flip must be done in one motion without pausing to align for the matty flip
Option F: BrighFive's Self Hypnosis: Arm, elevate, initiate 360 CW roll, smoothly transition into CW orbit of RIGHT leg, and pass plane of the leg gate 3 times.
On third pass, RIGHT side loop over self, smoothly transition into CW orbit of RIGHT leg, and pass plane of the leg gate 3 times.
On third pass 180 yaw spin transfer to LEFT leg, smoothly transition to CW orbit of LEFT leg, and pass plane of the leg gate 3 times.
On third pass RIGHT side loop over self, smoothly transition to CCW orbit of RIGHT leg, and pass plane of the leg gate 3 times.
On third pass, LEFT side loop over self, smoothly transition into CCW orbit of RIGHT Leg, and pass plane of the leg gate 3 times.
On third pass 180 yaw spin transfer to left leg, smoothly transition to CCW orbit of LEFT leg, and pass plane of the leg gate 3 times.
On third pass LEFT side loop over self and pass the leg plane.
Timer starts crossing leg gate plane.
You have 5 seconds to perform: 180 pitch back or forward, 180 roll (either direction) ... aka a snapback or a juicy flick.
and disarm hand catch and you must keep yourself in frame, you cannot move your feet, and the whoop cannot contact anything aside from your hand.
Modified Vaigow Requirements: **only for pilots with I-G-O**
You must complete requirement #1 and #2 in the same clip. You can still choose either option for each requirement and you can land to reposition yourself in between combos and/or crash or otherwise have failed attempts in in your clip but you must complete this modified task in less than 60 seconds TOTAL from start to finish. You must still comply with all applicable challenge requirements.
Regular Season Challenge #7 = HDZero One-Clip-Rip
Requirement #1:
You must perform a one clip freestyle line that is 40-60 second long with no bumps or ground taps that includes at least 12 unique tricks and 3 different obstacles. The clip must begin and/or end with you, the pilot, giving a thumbs up to the FPV Camera. You must list all the tricks you perform in order on screen and/or in the video description.
*The 5 required tricks in the following requirements count toward the total so you really only need 7 additional tricks beyond the requirements below.
Requirement #2:
You must include the following tricks somewhere in your line:
A. Split-S to Immelmann or Immelmann to Split-S Combo on any over/under obstacle
B. PowerSwitch on any over/under obstacle (3/4 Powerloop, stall, rewind motion with Mattyflip)
C. Inverted 360 Yaw Spin (Inverted yaw spin must be mostly level to horizon and 360deg +/- 90deg, any entrance and exit) OR a wall tap (you must contact a vertical surface with the base of your drone and then bounce off and then fly away cleanly)
*These 3 items can be performed in any order and at any time during the run.
Requirement #3:
You must include a Rubik's Cube through an IGOW size gate or gap. This trick must occur at least 25 seconds or later into your run. The top of the gate must be no more than 10ft (3m) above the ground. You must be inverted and already have started to roll when passing through the gate.
*If you start your Rubik's Cube with a half front flip, after the full roll, you must finish the front flip. If you start with a half backflip, after the full roll, you must complete the backflip.
*If you complete 12 unique tricks including all of the tricks from requirement #2 before 25 seconds has elapsed then you can do the rubik's cube early.
*You are not allow to manipulate the speed of your video in any way.
*Tricks that are just multiples of other tricks do not count as unique tricks. So a Roll and a Double Roll or a Powerloop and a Double Loop (back to back loops) would not be considered unique tricks. Likewise a half-matty and a half-matty pendulum would be considered unique tricks.
*You can perform this challenge inside or outside.
Regular Season Challenge #6 = Neo's UV Creations Cube Ejects
Requirement #1:
Perform a "Cube Eject" on any size horizontal gate or gap.
*You must enter from under the horizontal gate, then eject up out the top of the opening and then dive back down down through the top and then out exit out the opposite side that you entered in a smooth motion. You must pop-up above the top of the horizontal gate at least as high as the gate is above the ground. You must fly away cleanly after exiting.
Requirement #2:
Set up an IGOW-approved cube obstacle set on the ground. Maximum size of a cube side length 28" (71cm).
You can use PVC or a premade cube gate or anything that meets the size requirements. If you have a bottom cross bar your cube can be slightly above the ground.
Requirement #3:
You must perform the following five trick combo on your cube obstacle.
A. Standard Cube Eject
B. Backflip Cube Eject
C. Roll Cube Eject (Rolls must be the opposite directions)
D. Backflip+Roll Cube Eject (Rolls must be the opposite directions)
E. Ceiling Tap Cube Eject
These tricks must be performed in order, all in one clip, with no bumps or ground taps.
For each cube eject you must enter one face of the cube then pop out of the top, dive back down and then exit the opposite face of the cube. For each eject you must raise up above the top of the cube at least one cube height and you must stay above the top of the cube or at least within one cube length. You must re-enter the cube and sweep out of the opposite face in a smooth motion. You cannot stall or catch your fall and stop or drift back, before exiting the cube.
Note: If you complete the first standard eject for requirement #3 as an attempt at the full combo or as part a successful full combo that will also count as passing requirement #1 so you do NOT have to do both if you do not want to.
Additional Details:
A. Standard Eject = Pop up, pitch forward and then dive back down
B. Backflip Cube Eject = Pop up, complete a backflip motion and then dive back down
C. Roll Cube Eject = Pop up, pitch forward so you can see the cube, perform a full roll with the cube in FPV view as you dive back down. You must complete the roll the before you enter the top of the cube.
D. Backflip+Roll Cube Eject = Pop up, and complete a backflip and then perform a full roll with the cube in FPV view as you dive back down. You must complete the roll the before you enter the top of the cube. This roll must be the opposite direction of the previous step.
E. Ceiling Tap Cube Eject = Pop up, perform a half flip or half roll to inverted and then tap the ceiling or any surface at least 1 cube height above the top of the cube and then dive back down.
*60 second MAXIMUM video submission length. (Note: If YouTube displays 61 seconds that is fine, it often adds a second to the runtime)
Regular Season Challenge #5 = Velocidrone Half-Matty Pendulum
Requirement #1:
Perform a Half-Matty Pendulum with at least 3 Half-Matty maneuvers back-to-back-to-back in a pendulum-like motion and then finish with a full roll with the obstacle in FPV view. You must alternate roll directions for the Half-Matties and the final full roll and each trick must start immediately after the previous trick ends with no extra setup motion. Your obstacle can be anything, any size, anywhere, that you can fly on both sides of and under or through.
Requirement #2:
Find or setup a "Mini Doorway." The MAXIMUM size of this obstacle is 28" (71cm) wide by 56" (142cm) tall with the base on the ground. Anything else that would fit inside of the obstacle will also be allowed.
Requirement #3:
Perform the following combo on your Mini Doorway Obstacle. The following tricks must be done in order, all in one clip, with no bumps or ground taps:
A. Perform a Split-Yaw over and back through the obstacle. This is a Spilt-S with a 180deg yaw added into it. You must start the 180 yaw while diving down in the Split-S and be backward before exiting the gate.
B. Perform a Half-Matty Pendulum with 2 total Half-Matties immediately back-to-back in a pendulum-like motion. You must alternate roll direction and follow the Half-Matty Pendulum rules from Requirement #1.
C. Perform a full roll with the obstacle in FPV View in the opposite direction to your 2nd Half-Matty.
*All of your Half-Matty maneuvers must begin at or above of your obstacle and have CLM for the backward sweep into the start of the next trick.
*Ideally your Half-Matty maneuvers will start with a half roll to inverted and then as Tyrantt described, "pause for a moment to admire your obstacle" before pitching forward and sweeping back under/through your obstacle with constant loop motion and into the next trick.
*The 4 Pass/Fail Points of Focus apply to all required maneuvers. #1 You must directly link your tricks by performing them immediately one after another with no extra setup. #2 You must alternate roll directions for each trick. #3 You must start each Half-Matty maneuver at or above the top of the obstacle or opening. #4 You must have CLM for the backward sweep motion of your tricks.
Regular Season Challenge #4 = weBLEEDfpv Building Dives
Requirement #1:
Find a building or similar tall object that is at least ~50ft (~15m) tall.
*Anything that meets the height requirement is allowed. Antennas, cliff faces, bridge supports, flag poles, and of course trees are options other than buildings that you could dive.
Requirement #2:
Fly up at least 50ft and then dive down in proximity to the building face or object.
*You are allowed to fast forward the ascent to save time, but at least 50ft a dive must be at regular speed.
Requirement #3:
Level out from your dive and then fly away before hitting the ground.
*If you hit the building or the ground you must redo your dive. Unless you dove 50ft more feet after hitting the building and you fly away cleanly.
*90 second time limit for this challenge!
Regular Season Challenge #3 = Rotor Riot Trippy Switch
You must complete all 3 requirements in one clip with no bumps or ground taps:
Requirement #1:
Find or setup a pole or pole-like-obstacle and perform at least two Trippy Spins around it.
Requirement #2:
Perform a Trippy Switch and then at least two Trippy Spins in the opposite direction.
Requirement #3:
Perform another Trippy Switch and then at least two Trippy Spins in the opposite direction.
You must keep the pole in your FPV view at all times during the entire sequence. If you lose it from view you must start the entire sequence over.
When performing a Trippy Switch the pole must stay upside down in your FPV view for the entire motion. It move to the side of the screen but it cannot ever go past horizontal.
When performing a Trippy Spin you must keep the pole at the top of your FPV view. If it dips to the side you must reset your trippy spin count for the current direction.
Regular Season Challenge #2 = BetaFPV TGS
Requirement #1:
Set up a "TGS" or Triple Gate Stack aka a 3 gate ladder. The maximum gate size is 28" (71cm) open for the side of a square. The bottom gate must be on the ground. The TGS can be set anywhere inside or outside as long as the bottom is on the ground. You can make the TGS from anything as long as it meets the size requirements.
Requirement #2:
You must perform a "Limbo Loop."
You must complete all of the following steps in one clip with no bumps or ground taps:
1. Fly forward through the top gate of the TGS.
2. Fly backward through the middle gate of the TGS.
3. Perform a powerloop through the bottom gate, then upside down and back though the top gate and then complete the powerloop by flying through the bottom gate again. The powerloop must be performed with CLM (Constant Loop Motion).
4. Fly away cleanly and perform a celebration flip or roll.
Requirement #3:
You must perform a "Matty Shuffle."
You must complete all of the following steps in one clip with no bumps or ground taps:
1. Fly forward through the bottom gate of the TGS.
2. Fly backward through the middle gate of the TGS.
3. Perform a Mattyflip through the top gate, then back though the bottom gate. The Mattyflip must be performed with CLM (Constant Loop Motion).
4. Fly away cleanly and perform a celebration flip or roll.
*Requirements #2 and #3 can be in separate clips but all the steps for each requirement must be performed in order and in one clip with no cuts or speed adjustments.
*The powerloop and mattyflip MUST be completed with CLM (Constant Loop Motion) which basically means that your drone must always be moving in a smooth arc for a powerloop or Mattyflip. You cannot stop or have motion that is not part of a smooth path for these tricks.
IGOW / RaceGOW Gate Recommendations
Regular Season Challenge #1 = EMAX International Orbits
Requirement #1: You must include your pilot name, your location, and a fun fact about yourself on screen during your video submission. Please try to put this at or near the beginning of the video if at all possible.
Requirement #2: You must complete at least TWO FULL CONSECUTIVE ORBITS while keeping your POI in FPV. If your subject falls out of FPV view during your double orbit you must restart the double orbit.
Requirement #3: You must complete at least TWO FULL CONSECUTIVE ORBITS in the OPPOSITE DIRECTION while keeping your POI in FPV. If your subject falls out of FPV view during your double orbit you must restart the double orbit.
Requirement #4: Absolutely DO NOT use the song "You spin me right round baby" by Dead or Alive. This song always blocks the livestream on Youtube even if it doesn't block your video. You will fail the challenge if you use this song in your submission.
*60 second MAXIMUM video submission length. (Note: If YouTube displays 61 seconds that is fine, it often adds a second to the runtime)
*POI = Point of Interest. This is anything that you can see in your FPV view that you can fly completely around. You are NOT allowed to speed up any of the required 2 sets of opposite double orbits to get them to fit within 60 seconds. However if you have already shown all of the required orbits you can include any additional orbit clips at any speed.
*These two sets of opposite direction double orbits DO NOT have to be in the same clip. Separate clips are available.
*I strongly suggest doing more than 2 full orbits of each direction to be safe. If you cut either of your double orbits off at only 1.9 orbits that will result in fail. You must complete AT LEAST 2 full consecutive orbits of each direction while keeping the subject in FPV view.
Training Ground Challenge #7 = BetaFPV TPW Midterm
Here is the link to the TPW Explanation Page: https://prowhooper.com/igow-5-training-grounds-week-7/
Requirement #1:
Perform the first 3 tricks prefilled into the calculator: Split-S, Powerloop, & Flip.

Training Ground Challenge #6 = Decks of Dexterity Scavenger Hunt
Requirement #1:
You must complete at least 7 items total including at least 1 item from each Dan's favorite lists. You are allowed to complete as many as you can fit in 60 seconds and if you include 10 or more items your video can be a total of 90 seconds long. At least 7 items in your video must be performed in the past 2 weeks but you can use older footage for any additional items you want to include in your video.
Requirement #2:
You must complete at least 3 of the items in one continuous clip. All other items can be cut together and/or you can do more than 3 in one clip if you choose.
Requirement #3:
Have Fun!
#1 = Tree Surfing: You must fly in amongst the branches /leaves of a tree. You must stay inside the tree area for at least 5 seconds. Bumps are allowed
#2 = Odysseus's Arrow: aka "Natural Gate Tunnel". You must fly through 12 "natural" lined up gates cleanly. (no bumps allowed) You must find the gates set up in a line. You cannot create your own gate tunnel.
#3 Slide Disarm: You must disarm then slide some distance while in contact with a surface while disarmed. Then while still sliding you must re-arm, take off, and fly away cleanly.
#4 Guerilla Gate: You must fly through a "gate" that is for sale inside of a store. It can be anything but it must actually be for sale, not just something that is inside of a store.
#5 Perch: You must fly up to and then land (disarm) on a small surface at least 10ft (3m) above the ground. Then you must re-arm, take off, and fly away cleanly.
#6 Stranger Gate: THIS MUST BE 100% CONSENSUAL! No gate rape allowed. You must first ask a complete stranger to create a gate with their body and then fly through it cleanly. The person must be a complete stranger before you ask them to be a gate.
#7 Chase: You must follow something moving for at least 4 seconds keeping it in your FPV view. It can be anything besides a person that is just walking/running. If you follow a person they must be on something like a bike, skateboard, rollerblades, ect.
#8 Water Gate: You must fly through a "gate" that is at least partially formed by water. (Frozen water, aka ice, is allowed if it forms the entire gate.) Fountain are probably going to be the best place to find these type of gates. You could also create one yourself.
#9 POI Boop: You must perform a wall tap on something something specific with a nose. Fly at the POI then, rotate your drone so you contact the nose area with the base of your drone and then bounce off and fly away cleanly. So like it could be a sign or logo with a nose or it could be a statue or sculpture or something like that. It cannot be a living person or animal.
#10 Skate or Fly: You must complete a couple tricks while flying in/around a skate park and/or stake type obstacles. You can go up and down ramps and/or try to grind on rails or boxes. The idea is to fly like your whoop is navigating through the obstacles like someone skating the obstacles.
#11 Facepunch: DO NOT ATTEMPT WITH OPEN PROP DRONES!!! 1S Whoops ONLY! You must contact the face of a living person. It can be yourself or someone else. The contact can be intentional or an accident as long as you make contact with the face.
#11alternate: If you do not want to do a facepunch you can instead do a self landing. This is just landing on yourself in anyway. You must disarm and come to a complete stop on yourself without the drone touching the ground. Hand catching is also acceptable.
#12 Disarm Dive: You must fly up into the air and then disarm. This can be on purpose or due to failsafe. After falling while disarmed, then re-arm, regain control, and fly away cleanly before hitting the ground. *The concept is kinda like a game of chicken so the longer you can stay disarmed and the closer to the ground you can re-arm and fly away the better! *or Stoney Droney (edited by Barani Dan)
