Challenge #8 = Mepsking Freestyle Line
You must fly a "whoop" for all the remaining challenges.
DEADLINE = Saturday, August 15th at 9:00am PST
Submission Form = https://bit.ly/IGOW6C8
Challenge Requirements:
All Pilots must perform a clean Freestyle Line between 50 and 90 seconds long that includes all 7 of the Foundational Tricks and at least 5 unique obstacles as well as the tricks detailed the the requirements. A "clean" line means that there are no bumps, ground taps, or crashes, as well as no failed trick attempts even if they do not ultimately result in a bump.
Requirement 1 = You must create a "new trick," give it a good name, and include as a part of your freestyle line.
Requirement 2 = Your freestyle line must also include at least 2 of the 6 Advanced Tricks and either a 360 ham or a Basic Wall Tap.
Requirement 3 = Your freestyle line must also include at least 4 of the 6 Advanced Tricks, a Nearly Perfect 360 ham in both directions, a Basic Wall Tap, and an Advanced Wall Tap. The 360 hams must be at least 30 seconds apart and the Advanced Wall tapp must be performed at least 45 seconds after the start of your line. Powerflip (front or back), Half-Matty, Rollback (juicy or back), Trippy Rewind, Immelmatty, Barani.
Foundational Trick List: (Everyone must do all 7)
Orbit, Flip, Roll, Split-S, Powerloop, Mattyflip, Trippy Spin.
Advanced Trick List: (4 of 6, or 2 of 6 with ViaGOW)
Powerflip (front or back), Half-Matty, Rollback (juicy or back), Trippy Rewind, Immelmatty, Barani. Basic Wall Taps = Nose-Up Tap, Side Facing Tap( left or right), Nose-Down Tap
Basic Wall Taps: (1 of 3, or optional* with ViaGOW)
Nose-Up Tap, Side Facing Tap( left or right), Nose-Down Tap.
Advanced Wall Taps: (1 of 3, or NOT required with ViaGOW)
Downtown Tap (Nose-Down Tap, front flip out) *must contact the wall 9ft MAX above the ground. Ceiling Tap (inverted tap of a 9ft max ceiling). Jackie Chan fly through a gap with a powerloop motion up into a Nose-Down tap on a wall above the gap and matty motion out and back through the gap. The gap can be a MAXIMUM of 9ft tall and ~3ft wide.
Points of Focus:
*You must perform each trick properly and with CLM.
*For the Req3 Nearly Perfect 360 hams you must keep the horizon level in your FPV view as you perform the inverted yaw spin. You must rotate almost exactly 360deg with about a +/- of 22.5deg. The two 360 hams must be at least 30 seconds apart in your freestyle line. The 360 ham judging will be much more lenient if it is only for Req2 by way of a ViaGOW dose.
*For all the basic and advanced wall taps you must contact the wall or ceiling squarely with the base of your whoop and bounce off cleanly. You cannot hit the wall unevenly with only two ducts or otherwise contact the wall with any part other than the base. A wall is any nearly vertical solid surface. The advanced wall tap must be performed at least 45 seconds after the start of your line.

IGOW is a version of the classic game, typically referred to as HORSE or SKATE, modified to work for a very large group of players via the internet and social media. The game is designed to be fun for all skill levels to participate. IGOW is not a super serious or intense competition, especially during the preseason training it is mostly for fun, and pilots of all skill levels are encouraged to participate! No one should make the mistake of not joining just because they don’t believe they can win. Just participating in IGOW will make anyone a better pilot and give them an excuse to go out and fly at least once a week. Plus, they will have a chance to win a ton of awesome prizes along the way! Many of the past IGOW players have drastically improved their flying skills while at the same time gaining followings and sponsorships largely due to their participation in the IGOW competitions.
